LOMIC Locomotive Engine Oil

LOMIC locomotive engine oil is made up of mineral paraffin base oil and special zinc free additives. As the locomotive bearing silver alloy is highly sensitive to zinc, the additives used in the formulation of LOMIC  locomotive engine oil are free of zinc, thereby no adverse effect will be caused on the bearing functioning. In addition, the high number of alkalinity of this oil will neutralize the acidic compounds from the fuels -high sulfur content.
